Media Workshop with Dr Jennifer Turner

Join us for a workshop with Dr. Jennifer Turner who is both a media and wellness leader. She has led divisions within large media companies such as Disney, NBCUniversal, and Sony for over 20 years. She was the EVP of TriStar Television for Sony Pictures Television where she managed the development and production of new premium television series. Dr. Turner has worked on several hit television series, including, “The Good Doctor”, “The Blacklist”, “The Boys”, “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Desperate Housewives”, “Lost”, critically-acclaimed “Friday Night Lights”, and social-justice themed shows “For Life” and “Woke.”

Dr. Turner is now the founder and CEO of THE MAD COOL COMPANY, a venture dedicated to empowering communities through health, content, and connection. Through MAD COOL MEDIA, a next‑generation content studio, she champions the next generation of storytellers by giving them the resources to tell authentic stories. 

She holds a Doctor of Public Health from Rutgers, an MBA from Stanford, a Bachelor of Finance from Wharton, and a Bachelor of Japanese Language from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Turner teaches Leadership and Management Essentials as an Adjunct Professor at the Rutgers School of Public Health. She also serves as a Trustee of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (Northeast Region) and sits on the board of the Merit School of Music.
